Find The Fakes
Privacy Policy
We designed Find The Fakes to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible.
Effective date: September 27, 2026
Information we collect
We collect the email address connected with your purchase and access, basic transaction details supplied by our payment processor, essential sign-in and security records, and support messages you choose to send us.
Photos you check
Your photo is used only to perform the check you request. We do not intentionally save the photo in our account database or make it public. The image is held in request memory while the check runs and is then discarded.
To provide visual matching, the photo is sent securely to Google Cloud Vision for processing. Google acts as a technology service provider for this check. Do not upload a photo unless you have a lawful right to use it for this purpose.
How we use information
We use information to provide purchased access, send sign-in and purchase messages, prevent misuse, respond to support requests, process refunds, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare for hosting, security, and account data; Google Cloud Vision for photo matching; Stripe for payment processing; and Resend for transactional messages. These providers process information as needed to supply their services to us and under their own privacy terms.
Cookies and browser storage
We use an essential, secure cookie to keep you signed in. Essential cookies cannot be turned off through our site because account access depends on them. We also remember your advertising-measurement choice in this browser.
Ad measurement
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to see whether our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site and lead to purchases. It records pages visited, a purchase and its amount, and browser or device information, and shares these with Meta.
We never send your photo, your check results, or your email address to Meta.
How to opt out: use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link at the bottom of every page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
Retention and security
Account and purchase records are retained while needed to provide lifetime access and to meet legal obligations. Short-lived sign-in codes expire automatically. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we hold, request a correction, or ask us to delete information that we are not required to retain. Deleting your purchase account may permanently remove your access.
